After landing in Wales, it was dismantled by the British on June 24 and transported to Farnborough, where its engine and airframe were disassembled. Following a thorough inspection, the aircraft was reassembled, marked with British insignia, and given a new serial number, MP499.
Dne 3.
On July 3, W/Cdr H. J. Wilson test-flew it, and ten days later he flew it to the Air Fighting Development Unit at Duxford.

The MP499 took off for the last time on January 29, 1943, and in September of that year, the airframe of the captured aircraft was used for firing tests. It was then apparently scrapped.
